  • What positions do you recruit for?

Our primary focus is GP's, Dentists, Hospital Doctors and Psychiatrists. Various specialities across the board.

  • Do you recruit for other health professions?

We tend to stay in our own lane which is doctors and dentists. However, if you are a senior healthcare professional with at least 3yrs experience in your field please feel free to reach out.

  • Which countries do you recruit from?

The majority of doctors and dentists we work with are from Australia, New Zealand, UK, Ireland, Canada and the USA. This is because education and experience is mostly comparable.

We also work with doctors from other countries too, including: South Africa, Singapore, Malaysia,  Iran, India, Egypt, UAE, Sri Lanka, Pakistan, Africa and more.

  • How does the recruitment process work?

If an application is successful, employers will usually proceed first with a telephone interview, after which they may be in a position to offer you employment.

Once you have accepted a job offer, you will need to complete regulatory processes that can include applications for primary source verification, specialty medical college assessment, registration/licensing, and an appropriate work visa.

  • Are there any upfront costs for candidates?

Our service is free for all doctors and dentists.

  • What are the eligibility requirements to work in Australia?

All doctors working in Australia must have registration with AHPRA, which may be Limited, Provisional, General or Specialist.

We help you to navigate this. Its one of those things where it helps to have someone supporting you.

  • What restrictions are there for overseas-trained doctors?

If you obtained your qualifications outside Australia or New Zealand, and are applying for initial registration in Australia, you are required to work in a District of Workforce Shortage (DWS) area for a period of up to 10 years.

  • How long does the registration process take?

First time registration with AHPRA generally takes a few weeks to approve and requires you to meet several Registration Standards, including English proficiency, criminal history checks and recency of practice.

  • Will you assist me in obtaining a working visa?

Yes, we are partnered with a specialist migration expert who leads the visa process to draft lodge and manage the application until the visa is approved.

  • How long is the visa process and how long is the visa valid for?

It all depends on which visa you are applying for. Most of the visas we work with are employer nominated temporary skill shortage visas (TSS Visa).

The TSS visa is valid from 2 years to 4 years.  TSS visa approvals can take from a few weeks to a few months.

Our partner migration experts can provide further assistance based on your situation.

  • Why do people use a medical recruitment agency?

We take a very complex process and make it  simple for you.

  • Can I bring my family?

Most work visa options will allow you to include family members, with the eligibility requirements based on factors including age and financial dependency to you.

  • Will my employer pay for relocation?

It depends on the facility and the location generally. We always try to negotiate the best package we can.
